RISK ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR UKTFCA.
UTFCA is aware of the importance of risk assessment as a vital part of the functioning of any business or association.
UKTFCA , being a sports’ coach membership association best deals with risk by ensuring it members operate under the National Governing Body (UKA ) guideless, with specific preparation for the place, time and facility to be used, as well as with reference to the athletes and other coaches involved.
UKTFCA requires all Members to be qualified according to their National Governing Body’s requirements, which in the UK is UK Athletics.
Every member, being individually qualified under UKA must therefore apply all the Health, Safety and Welfare provisions advised and stipulated by UKA, as well as being DBS cleared and being personally aware of any specific personally identifiable risks that might occur whilst coaching.
We advise all members to create their own risk assessments using a suitable template (provided by UKA or Scottish Athletics) which can be downloaded or copied from their websites.
